Morning everyone,

I've been reading the site for the last 6 months, but this is the first time I have posted a question.

I,ve got a 1200 GS LC 2017 euro 4,standard exhaust.Had it about 6 months and I,m very happy with it, BUT!

I am familiar with the flatspot around 3-4000 revs, but if a ride the bike hard it doesn't seem to fuel cleanly 7-8000 on full throttle.

Its not bad enough to say its a missfire, but at 10/10ths throttle it doesn't seem to pull very well, but throttle back to 9/10 and it seems to sound crisper and cleaner. I dont know if it is misfiring as at higher revs its not excessive but just doesnt seem right.

I intend to get the fuelling sorted at hilltop soon, hopefull to fill the midrange hole, however I haven't seen anyone mention high rev poorer running. I wanted to check if this is normal.

If its normal fine, but if its not I better get it booked in before remap.

Any comments welcome

Wait till it's been hilltopped, normally Geoff should sort your fuelling. You will not need full throttle once it has been sorted. Wait and see.

Thanks for that, I didnt want to get booked in if a had a faulty coil or something.:thumb2

Used mine in earnest yesterday and had exactly the same symptoms, booked in at Hilltop end of the month which I'm sure will sort things out, I firmly believe it's the euro 4 fuelling map

Euro 4 fuelling is utter shite. The before AF readout on my bike looked like the end of a sheet of corrugugated iron, up and down in a regular wave 7 times between 5 and 7,000rpm hitting 15:1 AF each time, not good.
