I read all the test reports of the new Africa Twin in Jan and Feb from those lucky people who had a week all expenses paid in sunny South Africa and on that basis I bought one.
Very disappointed in lots of ways, had to shift it in sept lost lots of cash and bought a new GS for price of a house but don't regret it for a second, best bike I ever had.

I much prefer to read the other stuff in the mags, like Bike was back in the Mark Williams era. The only current mag I've come across that's worth a read is Sideburn. A brilliant mag, put together with style, excellent photography and not one fecking road test
