In a Remote area apparently.
Risers came today and ive fitted them. But im not impressed TBH, there should be a hole in them to allow access for tightening the front clamp bolt but there isnt ! Anyone else buy these "made in britain" risers ? Please note the clamps are tight despite the gap in the o/s clamp front bolt.

I had a set on my Africa Twin. What I had to do was fasten the fron ones up with the bars out of the way and then position everything and do the others up, a bit of a faff but got there in the end. Worked brilliantly by the way, never came loose or moved at all.

CNC MOTO, these were recommended by another member on here who had no problem with them. Once they are fitted you have no access to the rear clamp bolts because there is no hole machined into them. I have notified the seller and await their response.

I had to do similar, but there is supposed to be no gap on the front two bolts, the gap is supposed to be at the rear. But its almost impossible to make it that way round hense the gap on the offside front clamp.

Rox Risers come with Allen bolts that you can also tighten with a spanner. There’s probably a technical word for them, but I’m an oaf! See if you can get some of those.

Yes i could get a set but twice the price Nutty. The quality is ok on these its just the lack of access to the rear clamp bolts thats disturbing me. I had to tighten them as much as i could (leaving them just slack enough to allow fittment of the riser then tightening them up using the front bolts to clamp down on the bars, if you see what i mean.

Just out of interest ive taken a look at Rox ones and some have a hole and some dont. The BMW LC ones dont have said hole. ??????? WTF i must be thick or something. :blast:rob:cool::nenau:nenau:augie

Ohh and BTW the brake lines etc are tight on full lock but nothing that would concern me.

I meant see if you can get hold of the bolts, not the risers ;)
