I'm trying to set my wife up with mobile internet access for my wife for her business.
She wants to take credit card payments at shows without having to rent an expensive chip & pin terminal.

We've got a website with credit card payment facilities so it seems the easiest way to do it would be via mobile 'net access and bang in the customers' details on the spot.

The wife doesn't like thumb style keyboards or Palm graffiti input, so I'm considering either a PCMIA GMS card on a laptop or a smartphone with a decent keyboard.
The PCMIA option is limiting in that a separate SIM account would be required (unless we swap SIM from phone to PCMIA when required) but a smartphone may give keyboard concerns or compatibility with the website ?

Anyone got any advice?

Thanks.

I use a 3G sony ericsson k800i phone on T-mobile with a bluetooth connection from laptop (Macbook) for all my internet access now, its pretty fast and very reliable - have a look on the T-mobile website for their internet web 'n' walk deals.
