I need to run a phone charger for either a Philips or a Nokia phone from the accessory socket on the GS, but all the chargers seem to be "composite" units which are designed to plug straight into a car's ciggy lighter?
Anybody out there got any info on the best solution for this problem??

You'll be using your cigarette lighter charger for the car of course so I would pop down the local camping/caravan outlet or Maplins and get a male plug to go in the auxillary socket and a female cigarette lighter socket to plug your phone charger into. You just run a length of 2 core wire between them. Failing that if you have a spare car phone charger lead you just chop the end of and fit the Male plug.

If your not in a rush I may have a spare Nokia charger at home that you can cut the end of and put a Male plug on. I'm back from the rig this Thursday.

Have Fun
