I think it looks great and am doubtless one of those who like all the real world attributes of the GS, have no intention of ever taking it off-road and would therefore like it more road orientated (each to his own).
The fitment of 180 section rubber at the rear will slow the steering and might possibly make the bike a little less flickable than you might think, though this would depend on how the suspension is set up and how well the smaller front wheel works.
The other thing, which is rather important, is one of insurance. Change something like tyre/wheel specifications from OEM ones and you could well find that in the event of an "off" your insurer will claim that this is reason enough to make the policy null and void. Best to call them and let thme know of the mods but you could well find that they won't touch you with a barge-pole as this is such a tricky area.
