Model numbers

I frequently see bikes referred to as K25 etc. Can anyone explain which bikes the K(plus number) are referring to? Mine's a 2008 GS for example.

Have a gander at realoem.. Put in bike year and manufacture date and it'll tell you

2008 GS is coded as K25
2014-2016 GS code K51

2008 is K255
Never owned any of the others.

Even more confusing because there are significant differences between the single cam (2004-2009) and the twin cam versions (2010 to 2013)

Yes I know. I know there are differences between my friends 07 and my 08 I believe the next change was the twin cam. So that's a three models are covered by the K25 designation

I'm sure the Rainbow site used to have models designated with the K-codes, but they seem to be more specific ones now.

It might not be your phone....my Windows phone won't let me navigate around the pages properly either. Unless, of course, we've both got crappy phones!
