Recently changed my 11 plate Hex head TB for a GS Triple Black WC, 2 months old. Looking to add a few bits and bobs and thought I see what others have done/think. Looking to get the following on it. Tips and advice much appreciated!

Full Akra system, headers and exhaust, no Cat. Anyone recommend anything else?
Rad covers – prefer Black
It has an MRA screen on it, not sure about the extension bit on top?? May just go for an adventure screen if they bolt straight on, whats recommended?
Winglets – Not sure where they would go? Had em on my Hexhead and liked.
Handguard extenders, ones on there seem to be a bit narrower so maybe get better ones/ extensions?
Headlight grill / Protection – Bet its expensive to replace, a must have methinks.
Modified seats – possibly Sargent, have had seats done independently in the past but may look see if anyone has any for sale.
Crash bars – got lower ones fitted, Touratech ones, do they do upper ones for the GS non Adventure?
Cylinder head covers – not sure these will be needed with the crash bars TBH as they seem to cover them pretty well.
Tank pad
Touratech Beak extender – Worth having?
Sidestand foot enlarger – Not sure which one to get.
Machine Art Mudsling or hugger?
Cymarc Clock brace and protector – seem some people have them. Worth Having?
Pivot Pegz or maybe Touratech Adventure footpads?

The bike has Sat Nav Prep for Nav V. Now I've always got by with my TomTom app on the phone just fine and have been over a lot of Europe and North Africa using this. Seems I have to now invest in a Nav V as it would be silly to pull off the mount and de-vaule the bike but I really am not that bothered by it. Cheapest Nav V Ive found is £499 from a BMW dealer. Is it that good?? Is it easy to use?
Luggage - Will get a bigger top box, probably just a plate so I can stick my Givi one on.
What Tank Bag?
Lots of questions and I know many probably already covered so any links to older posts appreciated.
Happy New Year to all.

The MRA Vario screen is great and the spoiler works very well. I'm 5'8" as a reference.

I have the Wunderlich winglets and they offer a decent amount of protection for your mid area in cold weather. I have taken them off now since it's summer here

I like the Touratech handguard extenders on my bike.

The BMW headlight guard is quite good

I have the Wunderlich sidestand enlarger on mine and it's good

The MachineArtMoto head protectors are very good

The mudsling is great too. DO NOT GET THE CHEAPER MAIER VERSION!!!! It rubs on the swingarm and goes right through the paint.

The BMW Enduro pegs are very good and are made by Gilles. They dont pivot though...

Wunderleich crud catcher

Wunderleich headlight protector. Glass not mesh. BMW one looks weird.

Touratech hand guard extenders or the givi ones

Evotech radiator protectors

Mudslinger and fender extender combo

Side stand enlarger is a bit superfluous if not going on mud or tarmac but looks good I guess.

SW Motech / bags connection tank bag is #1 by miles

Hi Fredaroony- Are you the same chap from the S1000R forum?

On LC Mods- all of them are possible, but not sure any are necessary- except for the screen.

Yes mate, I was anyway until I had a big run in with the Admin and asked for my account to be deleted :)

Great thanks. Wasn't sure about the MRA screens as it looks a bit fragile but I'll give it a go.

Hopefully just picked up a sidestand enlarger on the items for sale section. Always needed on of these save having to carry one in ur tank bag for soft ground.

Dru, I've just removed an MRA screen from my GSA. It's the one with the larger flip up and screen.
Invoice details are; "MRA R1200GS 13 > & ADVENTURE 14> X-CREEN SPORT GREY". As far as I can see it's in very good condition, I just have to remove some stickers and was goi
ng to place it in the for sale section for £60 plus postage. Any interest?

Fuck me! What will that little lot cost and will it enhance your riding pleasure? :eek

A lot if I go buy it all new. I tarted up my old TB in a similar manner, got nearly all the bits 2nd hand. And yep it did enhance my riding pleasure! Definitely going to look out for a full exhaust system and will look to get seats customised, makes for comfier long distance days.

Thanks Vincent but it already has an MRA screen on it though not sure whether it's the same one? How have you got in with it?

nothing wrong with the standard l/c seat, all my previous gs/gsa seats as standard were not comfortable the l/c seat is,
full system will make those long distance days tiresome, seems like your spending for the sake of it but its yours to spend, personally the screen was the only thing i had to change plus i fitted the usual protection of mudsling headlamp protector etc

Subjective yes, but come on...

Good to know about the seat, thanks. Quite a few posts in here saying exhausts are loud but not when cruising, see there are quite a few options other than Akra. Anyone tried a Yoshi pipe?

If you have a triple black then you have the better BMW Exclusive seats and not the regular ones. I bought the exclusive seats for my GS and really like them

Looks nice pipe
