In the lowest position, you have to lean quite a way to ground them out. They're only about 2cm lower than the stock pegs in the lowest position, so you'd be close to grounding the originals if you lean that far anyway.

Ciggy outlet has a flat mounting bracket. Bit of old innertube around the frame then cable it tied it on. Wired back to the battery with a fuse. I also sealed the back of it with silicone when the wiring exits. The other pic is my bespoke rear wheel fling preventer. It could do with being a bit longer to stop the back of my left boot and ankle getting covered in crap. I lovingly crafted it from one side of an empty 5L screenwash jug. The exhaust does the job well on the RHS.
I've spotted this on Amazon which I'm tempted to 'upgrade' to.
Good point but 20mm over a lean angle is a lot , they look good but my standard pegs scratch so that extra 20mm is too much for me ( and no I'm not a fat tosser lol)

Ground out? lol they can be adjusted the same peg height as stock. They are way more comfortable to stand on than the thin stock ones.
The standard pegs are fine in your opinion but I didn't like them.
It's a 2 minute job to lower them, so for everyday riding/ touring, keep them low, and for hooning you can raise them a bit, if you're worried.
I took my tyres to the edge on my GS with the pegs in the low position, and didn't fall off, so it'll certainly lean without spitting you off.

I have the Wunderlich hub protector thingo but also have the kardan protector that goes on the joint. I never even fit the centre hub protector in the endilmberger carbon front mudguard

Why on earth would you remove the centre stand on an old bloater like a GS?
Please don't say to reduce the weight or give more ground clearance. Not a bright thing to do IMHO.

Its more for the look , I remove mine normally as it just looks sleeker......An I don't think its an old bloater now ,, they used to be
