Has anyone used a bluetooth dongle with a montana 650t? Any recommendations / advice as to the best one to use?

This montana thread although lengthy is a mine of information, a couple of the guys on their are really clued up on most things GPS related

Thanks for the replies fella's, is there a bluetooth adaptor that can be fed from the 12v supply on the bike ? How long does the battery last on the self sufficient ones last?
7dayshop do one. Loads of en about. do one. Loads of em about.
Why didn't I think of that... Will have to get one myself. I have a flying lead in the tool tray with a dual USB outlet on it. Just the job

Thanks for that Redboots, i have one ordered...............i'm loving the Montana, after having troubles with my Zumo 660.

I used a Bluetooth adapter and it stopped the gps from working after a trip away to Ireland, so be careful
How did that happen? I have mine connected to the 3mm jack socket from the AMPS mount.
Did you get it wet?

I received the bluetooth transmitter and works a treat. I've run the audio out cable to me handlebar bag so it all safe and dry. Thanks for the advice everyone ;-)

I had it plugged in the jack then cable tied to the unit the the gps went off when I took it away it came back on
