I've read most of the oil threads but pose a particular question (actually two): Is there a source of 4L of the recommended Castrol 5W40 for the self oil changers? Opie oils say " No", as it's supplied in bulk to our dealers to charge us a premium leaving the 1L bottles for top up. (Or is he a cynic?) The second point is has anyone used the 10W 40 version? According to the Castrol website it is the same spec as the 5W but a different viscosity. This is available in 4L at about £39.

Many thanks Dave. Whilst on Ebay saw an offer for 4 x 1Lt for £53. ordered.

Try Motul 5100 10w-50 from opie oils. I've found it to be a really good oil, can be bought in 4L cans and is a good price from Opie.
