I thought the new VI screens were "so good" they didn't need a sunshade

No they're shit in some light angles. I've got a Nav VI and a matt screen cover to help dim reflections.... which does help somewhat.

But when the sun gets in the wrong place, I have to revert back to looking at needles on a 3D plastic layout... which seems to work all the time
