Just been browsing Nippy Normans for bits of tisel for the new bike when it arrives. Up to £700 so far plus a similiar amount for a 2 piece Sergeant! On my last GSA had the standard alu panniers professionally polished to a mirror finish. :censor: nightmare to maintain, but looked amazing - so this time going to try chrome wrap with carbon wrapped lids. Think I am one of the few who quite likes the silver tank on the blue, so tank to be wrapped in blue & silver leather via Baglux. Would like to change the standard rubber for RP4's for good measure (read best grip).

Then there is the Akrapovic/ Remus headers and a visit to Hilltop Motorcycles...........

Happy (& expensive) days.............

Keep warm

Regards

OMG. That is so sad. Have you got nothing better to do?

He had them "professionally polished" which suggests someone else did it for him. Should your question have read Have you got nothing better to do with your money ? Or were you referring to the amount of time he now has to spend maintaining the shiny finish

Not sure how to post a photo, so this may not come out. If it does, then this is what you have to beat................:D

Problem with immaculate bikes when they do get dirty or a bit of character as some call it,owners are sad go out buying or repainting bits if it gets damaged or rusty,I don't mind a used look but clean bike.

How much do people actually spend upon bling they never use,or what has no use on a road bike ?

And what is the point in mirror polished panniers as they just look as bad as what ever is being reflected in them :nenau like messy plastic patio tables etc :D
