I know this subject has been covered a lot - but just thought I'd say: fixed my tobinators on my standard screen 1150GS (15min max); set them up as suggested in the blurb that comes with them; rode with this setting for a couple of days to get used to the difference - which was considerable - and then did the 'adjust with your left hand as you ride' method of finding the sweet spot.
It worked, and I echo the comment made by someone else that setting the screen so the wind hits the top of your helmet is the perfect place.
I'm 5.11 and found the front fitting set at about 80% max extension and about 30 degrees off the vertical towards the rear was good. Then ride and adjust the rear fixing to the get the air flow just so.
Brilliant bit of kit, looks neat, reduces the buffeting but leaves you feeling your on a bike.:clap
PS It reduces airflow noise - but there is still plenty.

wish i could get an email reply from the company!.. trying to buy a set but they dont seem to want my money

thanbks for the heads up. i didnt know they sold the kits. dont want to hijack this thread either but i have an 1100 and want the 1150 adventure screen and tobi kit. seems there are extra bits i need but cant find out which

Try doing a search on the site. I think I've read of people converting an 1150 screen to fit an 1100 bike but can't remember anyone converting an 1150GSA screen :nenau

ive been looking into this, you need the adv kit+ 2 spacers from the 1100 kit. i think andy might supply the spacers if asked nicely. don't forget the plastic covers for the screen as they don't allways come with the screen. but NN has these.

What is the 'adjust with the left hand as you ride' method?
I have been faffing about with mine for ages trying to adjust to find the 'sweet spot' without success
Can you please SHOUT because I am now DEAF and my ears are RINGING!!:thedummy

Don't tighten the screen fully so you can rake it back and foreward with your left-hand as you ride.
However I wouldn't advise leaving the whole screen loose - I just set the front fittings as I wanted them and left the rear ones loose. Guess if I hadn't found the sweet spot I could have moved the fron ones a tad and tried again.
Enjoy.

Glad most of you have some success, I just bought and fitted one for my 1200gs, the front adjusts fine but the sides are very restricted. I would like my screen to go slightly higher but the adjustment at the side just wont permit this. The Ones for the 1150 gs seem better as they come with side fitting as well but the 1200 just gets the front, any suggestions anyone apart from buy a 1150.

I've just fitted mine today. Am quite disappointed with the results. I'd like to get mine a bit taller too but the sides are already at maximum height...... another £65 squid down the drain? ..... :nenau
