Im heading to Morocco at weekend...leaving on ferry from Plymouth on Sunday30th......anyone on it ????????

How long do you think it will take from Santander to the other post for crossing to Morocco? We plan on arriving in Santander by 12.15 and then catching the ferry the following morning at 11.05am. Is this going to be achievable do you think?

Depends on whether you get lost / breakdown / stop for flower pressing or hoon at prodigious speeds between Santander and 'the other post'.
Put your departure and destination points into something really simple like Google maps and ask it for a route. This will be the software's best go at estimating a non-stop time. If you like its answer, great. If not, think of something better or an alternative.... or give up the foolish pipe dream.
Do the same thing again in something like ViaMichelin and compare the results. Repeat in other routing software until you get an answer you like or lose the will to live.

First of all make sure that is Spanish time and not uk time...... you are pushing it as I usually get somewhere around Salamanca in 4 hrs. .....you could push on further and then bunk down at maybe 7 ish...up at 6 next morn and off you go to Algeciras no problem .... that is if all goes well. You could do it in one hit but you will be knackered....
I usually stay at Globales Reina Cristina hotel in Algeciras which is very good and within spitting distance of ferry port.
Remember that the arrival time is when that ferry touches the quayside...then bikes are last off and have to queue at passport control so this adds another hour or more.....
You are straight out of port onto motorway so fill up in U.K. And then you can be off like a rat out off a drainpipe.....

Just done this in one hit...left algeciras at 09.00 and two fuel stops one coffee and 30 min lunch arrived in Santander hotel at 18.00 ....637 miles .....on a 1200gsa
