MOT Failure?!

Could someone please tell me if my RID showing first gear in neutral will cause my GS to fail it's MOT tomorrow?

As most vehicles don't have gear indicators I doubt it.

But may fall into the "got it - has to work" category. In which case just cover it up with a bit of tape.
