MOT: Ignition requirement

About to purchase a DR650! But...

The ignition has been "screwed".

Anyone know what the requirements are for passing a MOT if the ignition doesn't work via a key?

As long as it starts, ie to check for fuel leaks exhaust noise etc etc you should be ok as its not mot requirement. Although your petrol cap will need to be removeable.
