front discs look very LM1/Jota ish
.
It's only hanging in the frame for ease of movement.little tip , SB6 are a pig to put oil in .
that engine looks way too low ?
What's the advantage of the slides over the CV 's?I’d get the motor out of the Martin and have it vapour blasted hen given a fresh lick of paint. Ditch the CV carbs for a set of flat or round slides. A nice Harris stubby exhaust and she’ll be looking awesome.
Quicker throttle responce when your in the right rev range. What's the advantage of the slides over the CV 's?

Ah Mikey, I've been turning it over for months via the gearbox output shaft. I've had a look at the pistons and they are new, from what I could see of the barrels they look good but I plopped some oil in there months ago and to be honest I'm prepared to take whatever comes regarding the motor. Each to there own,
But why would you want to crank over a motor that’s been sat for years,
Take a few covers off,and make sure it’s not rusted inside,
Put a borescope down the plug holes
Carry on![]()
