A while back I bought the SW Motech panniers. From day one they leaked like a sieve. I discovered this as I took my Macbook Pro out of 2 inches of water
. Considering how much they cost I was not a happy camper. Not being one to whinge straight off the bat I figured I would seal them myself and a friend gave me some aircraft fuel tank sealant which is amazing stuff.
Despite this the panniers still let in water and I was royally pissed off at this point. I contacted Motohaus and in particular Bonnie Wheeler.
They are the UK importer for SW Motech kit and while it was not their fault they leaked she really took customer service to a new level. She provided new seals and other extras to protect my gear at no charge.
She was in touch over the Christmas period and also during this time I had to head over to the continent.
She shipped the goods to the alternative address in Europe without hesitation.

The same cannot be said for SW Motech who didn't get in touch with her or me, didn't seem to think there was a problem with my panniers and had no intention of doing anything about it. They also could not be bothered to ship the new seals across the border from Germany to Austria.
In my view SW Motech don't deserve the business for providing such an inferior product coupled with a bad attitude.
In contrast I highly recommend Motohaus and will be using them a lot more in the Future
