Advice please, I need a new lid & have settled on either the Shoei Qwest or Shark Vision R. I'll be visitng the NEC show for the first time in a couple of weeks & would be grateful if anyone can say whether the show will be a good place to pick up a helmet at a good price, thanks.

If you find the helmet and you try it on at least you know what size you need + you can haggle..especially if more than one stand have them .if they don't meet your price get it online.

If you are going to the show just to save money rather than going anyway then with the travel/entrance you probably will not save much though compared to online.

Shows are always a good place to bag a bargain, especially if there are several stands selling similar wares. As rodders, states, you can try on to get the perfect fit, chat about the technical aspects...then haggle away.

I'm off there with Mutley too, so will be taking loads of photo's too, so don't forget a fully charged camera and a small wedge to buy food!!!!!

Thanks guys, I want a sat nav as well so could be an expensive day.

Helmet city has done me the best deal the last two Shoei Multitecs both at the NEC.

They are good because they give you a good price straight off.

Is the last day usually very busy?

I guess better chance of bargains, but less things to choose from?
