Hello

I have no relation with Motorworks but I think that good examples should be enlightened!

I bought a gearbox from them and after some kms it start to leak some oil. After some emails they sent me a new gearbox. (I live in Portugal)
I change them and then sent to the UK the leaking gearbox and the recipe of the transport cost.

I’ve just receive my money back

I very good and friendly service!

Never had a problem with MW's - great service - very experienced staff. Give 'em a ring Rob!

Used to use M/works when i worked at a dealer 'cos it was quicker! Less bullshit in Yorkshire:thumb

Also had only good service from them.

a dealer in NZ also told me that they order some parts through them cause its quicker

They've been great in my experience for second hand bits (exhaust, screen adjuster, etc etc) but also new stuff listed on their website. And also other new BMW parts from the list - even obscure stuff like PTT brackets.

I will have to disagree with everyone else Im afraid. Sorry guys.
Whilst it is many moons ago, I paid MW a visit on the GS to collect some spares. When I returned to my bike after collecting the spares, I found I had a puncture.
The owners watched me faff about extracting the wheel etc etc and offered no help.
What made it even worse is that is it was the middle of winter and pissing it down with sleet and snow. (I had travelled 120 miles and was already cold, and slightly damp).
The least I could have expected was somewhere dryish to do the repairs. Tw**s.

If there is anyone from MW here, perhaps they would like to comment. !!

Most of you will have the catalogues from MW and Motobins etc. You may see that MW always seems to be a bit cheaper than MB. However, I wont use MW, unless im really forced.

Im not bitter though !

Newbuild did you ask for help :nenau

Out of my own experience nobody has every turned me down if I walked up to them and asked for some shelter to work or even tools most recent the firebrigade at Blackfriars going through alot of effort to find a set of jumper leads and jump starting a bike with a dead battery.

I have however been frowned at and got some snarky comments seeying someone stuck and offer to help - weird old world we live in mate :D

Over the last 12/14 years?...
i've had 'good' and 'total sheite' service from MW.
at the moment - i am peeved that the s/hand drive shaft i was told would arrive early this week hadn't even left on friday just gone.
But i'm confident they'll get the delivery address right... this time. :blast

there you go - a balanced reply

Many purchases through them, for the airhead and my previous 1150GS. Service and advice always excellent, so no complaints from me. :thumb2
