I want to get some custom earplugs that I can still hear my autocom speakers with. I don't particularly want the expense of earplugs with monitors in, maybe some with filters to keep out the road noise but still hear my gps via the autocom. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated .

If you're going to faff about with ear plugs why not go for those with monitors in as well? Then you don't squash the ears, and can hear Betty warbling away a lot more easily. IMHO of course.

earplugs

I didn't want earplugs with leads hanging off them going out on other bikes, so thats why I fancied the idea of earplugs with filters

Feck - every second post today has been earplugs! The mods are going to start charging me business rates :(

TripleT - I use my solid earplugs with the intercom and it works fine. Don't buy filters until you've tried the solid plug. A solid plug will offer you the maximum protection and if you find you don't need the filters you've saved yourself some cash :thumb If not the filters to Green Leopard plugs can be retro fitted and don't cost any extra than having them fitted straight away.

I don't know about other manufacturers but you can always ask them!
