mounting digicam on 1200

my ixus 750 does really good quality video clips, and i fancy mounting it on the 1200 using a ram mount so it will look through the screen.....

BUT will the vibrations kill the camera? (on road only )

i know people mount camcorders on the bike, so surely a digcam should be ok?

Yep.

Killed my Sony cyber-shot with that set up last year after doing the Baltic Tour.

And even under warranty Sony wouldn't repair it free as they knew something had happened to dislodge some part of the focus mechanism.
