My wife has recorded some video of our daughter on her kodak camera. The file extension is MOV. Windows media player will not play it. I am not particularly computer literate,Using windows vista any thoughts?:beerjug:

vlc might still play it a wee bit choppy if it's HD.
i convert using quick media converter ( freeware ) available on cnet
converts to mp4 HD which plays on windows media player and can be uploaded to youtube . hope this helps :thumb2

Thanks for the swift reply, on to it now! Despite operating millions of pounds worth of medical diagnostic equipment daily, windows based stuff bothers me.

As GSwadd says it's apple alright but you still might need specific drivers unless the format is H264 compliant.

Quicktime player is free to download, QT pro can also be used as an editor.

best of luck if your really stuck you could ftp. the file to me and I'll turn it into something else.

aslong as it's not a massive file...
