While in Mottorad Central West at the weekend I was speaking to Damien the Service Manager. He told me that this was his last week, and in fact he finished today. He has moved onto pastures new on the dark side, his beard is a giveaway for the brand of motorcycle he will now be working for :augie

Personally I am sad to see him go as he has been a pleasure to deal with. He has always sorted out any of my requests and he and his team of technicians have always kept my bike on the road. Always a vary welcome to me and Skye, just like the rest of the staff there. He arranged for FPC and EWS problems to be prevented by fitting new units so that I wouldn't breakdown and be stranded with her. However, I never had any warranty or corrosion problems so had no dealings with Damien in that area.

I wish him all the best in his new ventures and hope that a suitable replacement will be found as it is a key job.

I just received an email from him and he has asked me to post the following up on his behalf:

' Hi there Damien Orr here now former Service Manager at Motorrad Central West. I just wanted to post up a big thank you to all the customers that i have dealt with while i worked the desk. I always tried to give good customer service and make sure you all had a smile on your face by being honest and upfront with anything. I know you cant always please everybody but i did try my best. Once again thank you all its been a pleasure im now on to pastures new but ill never forget my time at Motorrad! If any of u wish to comment please give your names so i know who it is!!! thanks again!

:thumb2 Good bloke. I always found him very helpful. A good service manager is a worthwhile investment for a dealer. Lets hope his replacement is up to the same standard.
