My '21 plate 1250 Adv has the multifunction indicators fitted which I'm really not that fond of (diplomatic terms) Has anyone had them removed and the bike re coded at a BMW dealer and if so, what was the cost ?
Many Thanks

It is possible for the multifunction indicators to be configured in a number of ways, and you may find a dealer to do this for you at their minimum charge (poss 1hr rate).

They can also be recoded via HEX GS 911 diagnostic unit, which are readily available from a number of UK suppliers. https://www.hexinnovate.com/ Using this tool is fairly straight forward and it can be done in less that 10 mins, once you know where the settings are in the app. You just need to maintain the bikes battery voltage above 12.5v whilst coding. There maybe someone local to you that has one with unlimited VIN access, who would do it for you.

A third option, which is a hardware plug and play solution is Weiser Wizzards https://abikething.com/?s=Weiser&jet_ajax_search_settings={"search_source":"product","custom_fields_source":"_sku","catalog_visibility":true}&post_type=product&jsf=jet-woo-products-grid&tax=bikes:69

Thank you. I'd been told that the rear indicators had to be changed for the older type ones for it to work ...
Is that not the case ?

It’s not the case.
911 can program it how you want it including rear light acting as a light and brake.
Plenty of us have them.
