I've just put a shed load (800mb)ish of music onto a micro sd card for the wifey so she can put it in her phone (samsung galaxy ace). Now when the card is in the phone half the songs don't appear in the playlist! :blast I have checked they are all still on the card ok but the phone won't / cant find them. Any ideas? :nenau

Are they all mp3 files or might they be in another format?

Oh christ! I've just realised. You're the bugger who couldn't get to grips with links :blast
This could take a while...

Aaah, good question! Not a clue! :blast Does it tell me somewhere? :nenau The music is stored in the windows media player thingy. (if that makes a difference)

Cheeky git! I still can't do the links! :blast:D
Anyway, I think you hit the nail on the head there. Some of the music I put on my puter is in MP3 format and some is WMA. My question is can I change the WMA files to MP3 ones without deleting and re-ripping them in MP3 format? Or am I heading to confusion town again?

It'll be in a folder somewhere on your computer, probably in "My Music"
If you open the folder you should see a list of all the tracks, or possibly lots of sub-folders of albums or artisits. Anyway, click through until you get a track and the filename should end in .mps or.flac or .m4a or something like that.

You may need to convert them to the appropriate file type.

Marvelous! :clap Good man. I'll go and have a play. Ta. :thumb2
