Music on the GS

Impo cardo packtalk bold is a better setup due to the fact that it is ip67 and this country tends to have a fit of rain and with both sena And packtalk costing vertically the same I feel that makes the difference

How is with wind noise an duplex when using with pillion for chatting , as they used to be problematic

Can't comment on pillion use as I don't ride with a pillion but bike to bike duplex is flawless. Chalk and cheese from the Autocom setup I've used for years

IP67 water resistant for 1hr in 1 metre of water IP68 water resistant for 1.5hrs in 1.5 mteres of water, both are dust resistant

Unless your going scuba diving - so what .. my Sena 30K survived from Loch Lomand to Dent in torrential rain with no problems, my boots on the other hand didnt

The locking mechanism on the sena was what swung it for me. even if you dont clip it in properly, the long mounting tab, should keep it in place, long enough for you to work out somthing is wrong.

The cardo on theother hand, may have bounced down the road at 70mph

But we're splitting hairs - go for whatever unit you want. but if the speakers are better than the Sena units let me know ;)

How do you get Bluetooth Pro on your phone app??
It’s going back to Sportsbikeshop tomorrow.

Appologies, its called Bluetooth Intercom Audio Multi tasking and you could look at enabling Audio overlay volume management

(god knows where i got bluetooth pro from ??)

Thanks , it was when chatting with a pillion that the delay seemed to cut the first word (or part ) so lots of what did you say from said pillion , with wired this does not happen at all , may well be better now but would need to be the same for me to change , but saying that after looking at reviews it does look good , but no real feed back on rider pillion.
Its a big cost to sell on again as I did with the Sena 10 U

The issue here is that The rider wants to talk to the pillion. That in itself isnt an issue, and works the same as bike to bike. Its the fact both rider and pillion want to listen to the music feed from the TFT as well as talk to each other.
This I have no experience about. Post the question here

3000 worldwide people, someone must have set it to work ?

I can confirm that in Bluetooth you can share music and shat away with a packtalk on the new setting 5.3
This music sharing also works when in dmc

Zx9man.Your saying the Cardo Packtalk plays music (Spotify) to both headsets and reduces volume when talking? It sounds better than the 30K after watching that YouTube video.
It’s going back tomorrow, not sure what happens after that. Would like my money back but what then....?
Oh, what’s dmc?

Ok thanks. I’ve not much use for connecting to other bikes, just pillion. Depending what happens with the 30K I’ll have a look at the Cardo systems.

Based on my experience. Used several Cardos. the last one Q3 wouldnt work at all. was advised to go for the Sena, and bingo. Brilliant. Also, and its a personal thing, The wheel on the Sena is so easy to use.
I did a poll, cant remember if it was on here or the Facebook page ? But Sena came out on top also for users.
I love the 30K, but am Tempted to get the 50S now !

Agreed.

Gave up on Cardo a few years back after my Packtalk packed up .
Never found it reliable when it occasionally worked .
Sena much more reliable . The SRL kit in my Neotecs is faultless .

After 13 years of Autocom I recently bought a Cardo Packtalk Bold. Spent a ton of time boring myself stupid watching various reviews and narrowed it down to the Sena or Packtalk and then finally down to the Packtalk Bold. Have to say I'm well chuffed with the way it performs. Bike to bike has been flawless and the rest of the features good as well.

At the end of the day you pays your money and takes your choice.....

It was the fact for me, that the 30K works seamlessly with the TFT. And the Bike to Bike. Last weekend Me & a mate tried out the Mesh.
I learnt that although the mesh is great for simple, hassle free connection with use with multiple bikes, It didnt work as the Standard BT comms. That being, When I want to talk to my mate. I simply tap, with a flat palm the unit, and it opens the comms. Talk, then to disconnect, Tap again and return to music or whatever. But with the mesh, Its always open, so if you cough, laugh, Sing along to Chesney Hawkes everyone can hear, and it knocks the music off. There is a way of turning the Mesh mic off, but its a palava. So we went back to standard BT . Tempted to buy the 50S, dont need to, but I cant help it.
