My 1200 GS, bmw dealer, bmw assistance and AVIS

Heard yesterday from JC BMW -

Problem seems to be two spark plugs that were starting to 'break-down'.

New put in, road tested, pluged into diagnostic machine and all appears ok.

Should be getting back today by mondial.

Got the front engine cover replaced under warranty after i noticed quite a lot of bubbling on it too - but only after speaking to the service manager.

I look forward to riding it again.

JC's Aberdeen and service the two do not go together, I'm one of those that will never cross their door again.

I got caught when they closed Aberdeen for Bikes and never bothered to inform folk.

Walked into the showroom to collect / confirm delivery of the bike in a few weeks etc. to find ......... well nothing really.

I can't say I'm surprised to see nothing changed, their attitude to bike customers is nothing short of appauling.

Which is a shame, as I also have a Mini, and with that they are very proffesional.

Chalk and cheese

I use Avis quite a lot and only have to give then 2 hours notice before they deliver a car to anywhere I want. They charge me about £35 for one day for a group 'C' car, that includes unlimited mileage, delivery and collection.

Usually they deliver it to me the evening before I need it and collect it the day after I use it. Never a problem, ever, even though I did get that bloody Skoda last week;)

Riding one for sure. In fact just for walking into a BMW showroom, one should get shot, no sorry thats a bit harsh, stoned to death.

Has everyone lost their minds.

BwaaaaaaahhhAhhhhhhAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa haaaaaaaaa HHHHHHhhaaaaa :D :D The big turning wheel of karma can be cruel sometimes :augie :augie
