Sorry to hear about Turraloon's bad experience. The battery died on my 18month 24k mile GSA a week last Wednesday, 4:30 pm ish in Morrisons car park, called BMW assist - they told me it was a bit late to get a technician out but would recover it to a dealer of my choice. Recovery arrived within a reasonable time of that stated, dropped me off at home. I phoned SLM mid Thursday morning, the problem had already been rectified. It was also due for it's 24k service and needed a new rear tyre - no problem, all finished by the end of the day. Picked the bike up after an unrelated trip to 'dat Lundon' Friday afternoon.

they'd cleaned it (really well) too

trouble is, I was hoping to wait 'till after payday for the service, the Landy had just cost me a couple 'o grand.

Got it washed too eh..........they had better do an extra special job on mine next time then!
