Took a ride round the lakeland passes today, weather dry but very cloudy. Having said that there were virtually no cars on the passes and pretty much had it to myself.
I have attached a .gdb file of my route which took about 4 hrs including a coffee stop (120 miles). I'd advise anti clockwise but each to their own
. The only hairy bit was the last hair pin at the top of Hardknott and its sooooo steep
. Standing up on the bike makes it much easier!!!

you can just and so see the start of the pass disappearing into the mist.
