Saw this action group on Facebook about parking charges ...

But I saw that they wanted to meet at 5:30pm at Park Lane.

This is what I said
Do you guys not have proper jobs?

How the heck do you get out of work for 5:30pm to meet at Park Lane. I can't even do that and I only work a couple of blocks away from Park Lane????

This is the response I got from the organiser :D
Did you read the bit that said... if you have work commitments, like myself then meet us when you can outside Westminster City Hall from 5:45pm onwards we will be there.

Also to set you straight we ALL have 'proper' jobs presuming you are implying a proper job is between 9am - 6pm anyway, we are working hard to get this tax scrapped and are fitting in as much time as we can around our work commitments, I for one have requested I leave at 5pm on Tuesday but start 1 hour earlier or work my lunch, the demonstration is important and will be at this time only this once for a very important reason, that it is the day before the scheme goes in to review.

Whatever time we see you on Tuesday and whatever time you can make it is your choice and your arrangement, but as we said we will be outside City Hall from 5:45pm and will surely be staying around for a while so do come down.

Me when I'm on earlies.

The person taking over from me stands behind me at about 445pm, I give a brief handover of whats on the screen, I unplug, he plugs in, I'm driving out the car park by 5pm.

How inconsiderate. Surely most Londoners are only just finishing their post-luncheon nap around then? :nenau

hehehehe

perhaps you should start an action group or send a virtual you

INDECISIVE YOU ARE NOT

See my last post on your HID rant. Once you get the party up and running with Att so long as he is still here I personally will support DECISIVE for PM
Matt

they work you lot down south too hard. I'm at home for 5pm, 3pm on a friday :D

Only downside is the overtime, was at work for 5am today :blast

Tom, you are fighting for a cause. Be radical, leave your desk at 16:30 to strike that blow!

Did Mao delay his great treck because someone in the paddi-fields couldn't get their wellies off? NO!

Did a suffragette postpone throwing herself under the king's horse because she couldn't make it for the 3.30? NO!

Did the Corn Law protesters sit in their master's barns or factories until it was a respectable knocking off time? NO!

Your financial future may revolve around that iniquitous £1.50 a day to park your bike.

Seize the moment! Get up and get out!

I propose the formation of a new pressure group.

I think it should be called the Militant Undecided Movement, or something.

Maybe.

Hang-on. I need to think about this a bit more.

Don't take your camera with you. You'll be mistaken for a tourist. :Motomartin

A man wanders over to Indecisive as he stands on the corner of the street with a large blank placard in his hand.

He's shouting "Down with it" and thrusting his placard in stunned pedestrians faces.

"What are you protesting against?" asks the man.

"What have you got?" snarls Indecisive and proceeds to chain himself to a traffic wardens leg.

:comfort

out by 5:30pm

Go in early?
Work through Lunch?
Take afternoon off?

Lots of solutions, you aren't applying yourself well here.
