Just thought I would reintroduce myself now that I have finally taken the plunge and bought a F800GS Adventure.

Picking it up next weekend, so this will be a long week!

I was surprised how tall they are. That will take some getting used to, as will the weight after my triumph Daytona 675.

I'm 6ft and I struggled to get a full foot down with the bike upright.

Can't wait to pick her up. Let's pray for some sunshine next Saturday!

Good choice, I 'upgraded' from a 1200Adv in April, full spec with all the toys and I love the bike. I'm 6ft tall and I have no problem putting my feet down.
Hope the weather stays fine on Saturday for you.........enjoy the bike.

Yes, it is the ex demo from CW, so pretty much has everything on it too.

Great bunch of people there and made it a very easy choice! Although, not my local dealer, so a 2hr train journey beckons on Saturday.
