The CBX is to be piloted by the lovely Kirsten over to Spain in the near future, for the Columbres Rally. I, for my part, hoped to ride the T160. As everyday goes by that dreram is fading, as i am working in Scunthorpe and the Trident needs running in as it has a genuine 4.4 miles on the clock. Looks like it's falling back to an old faithful, my 1VJ Tenere to get me over there.

I've had both those in the exact same colours, the CBX was a great bike but died electrically (loom fault so I pex'ed it)

The Trident? I never really gelled with it, mind you it could have done with some of the TLC your one looks like it has had. I swapped it for an XS1100 midnight special (the only one i've ever seen)

Colombres is a brilliant event. Have been for the last two years and the organisation was fantastic as was the weather. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

If it is any consolation Henry, your 'old' 1100 bright green/yellow tank was at the Ponderosa last weekend...and still going strong
