My PC doesn't see my HTC phone

It'll charge it up but won't connect in any way. Tried downloading HTC sync - no good. Tried enabling usb debugging - no good. Have set to either HTC Sync or Disk Drive mode and no different. Any solutions, or do I have to take the sd card out to get some tunes?

I have an HTC Leo/HD2 phone running Win Mobile 6.5.

I had this problem also. I 'think' I got it to work under:
Connections, USB to PC
Check Active Sync, and make sure you do NOT check 'Enable faster data synchronisation.

(i.e. you will NOT check the Disk Drive or the Internet Sharing options).

(I hope this is correct but I thought there was something about a modem involved in the setup, which I don't see here).

I think when I loaded 8GB of Music/MP3 files, I did this with the Micro SD card plugged direct to the PC as it was probably quicker.
