I will look at MyRoute-app but it seems you have to pay to make it reasonably functional Maybe it’s worth it monthly fora touring trip?

OP, post #3 as I read it, relates to the Coud based ‘MRA Routeplanner’ as opposed to the separate MyRoute navigation app.

needs separate subscriptions to both the online version and the app
This is the "route" I took.I started out with the cloud based online - working on my pc then using the routes on my zumo
Now have the App on my iphone and still use the cloud on my PC for most of the planning.
Its the garmin Zumo XT that doesnt really get used now.
I think the subscriptions are worth it.
That's the navigation phone app. Its now very good and works with Android Auto as well as the (Superior IMHO) native phone app. The big advantage is that with the route planner the route is WYSIWYG with what is planned....which the newer Garmin units are not with basecamp or the Garmin app based planning software. What’s navigation next? I’ve got a promotional email on that. I assume its exactly the same thing as MyRoute-app and it has two names confusingly.
