Anyone recognize this. 9mm across jaws, so a 10mm bolt retaining clip?

Found on garage floor. I own R1150RS & R1200GSLC

Browsed RealOEM.com, can't identify this part

My guess is rear brake pads retaining pin goes on the end of the pin as it protrudes out of the caliper ?

Thanks for the suggestions guys & to beemer pimp for troubling to take a photo

Now resolved - Embarrassingly its not a bike part at all, its from a garage door spindle!

Its just a retaining circlip,

multiple uses, accross many factors, not a bike specific item.

They are normally pretty robust, and need quite a bit of force to remove,

they dont normally fall off through wear though. , or get levered off by the part there fitted to wearing / moving and forcing the clip off

usually not fitted properly and the ping off after time.

Nothing to do with brake rotors afaik.

pad retaining pins are R clips, and the rotors are bolted / screwed in

Maybe it's different size but this from front brake rotor on 1100 rt cast wheel
