Nürburgring

I'll be round that area the weekend after (14th Sept). Staying in Cochem for a few nights then heading down to Baden Baden then who knows. I will do the Ring one day:rolleyes:

Have Fun and don't throw it down the road guys:augie

Sorry lads…was being a bit flippant when I said this. I would love to go around the ring in a fast car driven by someone who knows what they’re doing. Three of us tried to organize it while there but without success (had arranged to split fare 3 ways and draw lots for front seat). We weren’t sure at the time and still aren’t, is the fare €200 per person or per car. Some replies to this thread hint at both.

As for the viper. Saw it out on the track from a viewing area close to our hotel and I have to say, We didn’t think the driver was giving his all, seemed to be taking it very easy and I would have been annoyed had I parted with €270 for a trip in it.

.

Price is for the hire of the car not the seat, so it is actually quite reasonable.

M5 with Sabine driving and another guy was miles quicker than that American bag of poop. Probably because BM own the cars whereas the Viper is privately owned so they can't afford to crash it.

Don't believe me.......go on Sunday, the M5 flies :D:D:D

Really need to go again myself, definately a must do experience :thumb2:thumb2

But then you know that now :beerjug::beerjug:

What a cracking trip. Metisse and I met Stoney and co at the Ring for a few laps before a great meal at the Hotel Am Tiergartens Piston Club. I also managed to blag a lap in the attached white Porsche GT3 RS hitting 160mph. The Ring is addictive and we'll be heading back.
