Yes they are loud, but much better than the standard duck fart

Did you get it from NN's, and who fitted it for you? I had mine fitted to a K16 by the local dealership.

Bahnstormers fitted one on my GSA because I wasn't impressed with the magnum, they left them both on, sounds a bit like a fog horn, do have to warn the mot tester each year cause it's a confined space!

I love the negativity on here sometimes, nothing lasts for ever but it's fun whilst it lasts.

almost 8 years on with the same Stebel Nautilus. Still scaring the crap out of people with it. Quality lasts - the cheap chinese clones are the ones to avoid.

And I hope you showed him a clean pair of heals through the twisties too...:thumb

I put one on also. Then I got the Clearwater lights. The Darla's and Krista's which blink on when the horn is activated. It gets peoples attention.

Quite - 9 years mine lasted :thumb

Mine (from NN in '06 or '07) lasted Riyadh to Dubai and back, by which time if was knacked, impeller loose inside. I had some correspondence with NN, I think they wanted the horn back before the next step, which was not really practical. Since then, I have bought pairs of car horns and fitted them, work quite well.

Up to about 2005 RTs had twin horns as standard iirc and were quite loud enough.

And for some years afterwards, although they only had the one horn, the wiring for No. 2 was still in situ. I think that stopped with the Twin Cam update.
