Nav V battery

Is the Nav V battery the same as the 660?

No it's a different type.

Not 100% but looks like pictures online of a zumo 590/595 battery

I thought I had an issue with my battery, when the unit wasn't on the bike and been in the box for a few weeks, the battery ran down. Then I read somewhere that when you switch off the bike, and get the option to turn off the nav, it actually goes into standby, so if you put it away the battery runs down. The only way I found was to cancel the shut down, take it off the cradle and then turn it off by the button on the rear, the battery then started to hold its charge.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a go.
I had a full green bars charge when I left it (attached to the bike), then a week later it was in the red.

Didn't seem to do this last year!

Charge it up with a usb charger and get all bars green. Even if you switch the bike off and pick off on the unit, it goes into standby. I take mine out the cradle, press cancel, then switch off via the button. It worked for me, keeps its charge for weeks now :)
