As per the title, has anyone used the 4-button Nav-V cradle in conjunction with the BMW thumbwheel control on the left bar?

Do the two controls conflict, or work together?

I suppose that if one mounted the Nav5 on "pre-historic" BMW without a thumbwheel, the buttons would be quite useful. If your Bee-Emm, has a wheel, then the buttons are redundant, unless one particularly likes riding with one hand of the bar. I can imagine that pressing a button might save time scrolling through a menu.

It doesn't work, i upgraded by basic gs, the nav 5 came with the button cradle,
i had to change to the locking mount for it to work, it does mention it in the info,

Thanks Roamer - that answers the query :thumb2

It would have made the operation easier with the bike ignition off, but it isn't to be.

Cheers
