There's a good as new one for sale HERE which comes with large SD card (BMW don't provide one) and all the latest maps loaded.

You should be able to get a nav iv fairly cheap second hand. You don't get the full interaction but why you need tyre pressures on your sat nav when they are on the bike computer is beyond me!
Does the 660 allow you to put music on to ?
Having owned a 660 and now own a nav 5
The nav is a better unit. The screen is brighter and clearer, it re routes quicker plus the bmw functions.
Its just a better unit all round IMHO. It is more expensive but isn't everything with BMW!

+1.
I will say that when one of my directors rang me when i was driving it was very easy to be distracted. i grew a pair and then would just say i am driving at the moment so will ring them back when i found a safe place to park. No problem.
you should try it before commentating!
what about if you need reading glasses but don't need glasses for distance work.
Bi focal or vari focal glasses!

+1 for varifocal!
+1 for varifocal!
IMO they are no use as the reading bit is at the bottom so you would have to angle your head to focus on the clocks so no chance of just glancing. Too dangerous in my view. By the way I can actually see the instruments I was just voicing a positive which hadn't been mention.

That is not my experience. With my varifocals I can see the instruments and the SatNav clearly plus having a good view of the road ahead.

photos to follow. now having a new back tyre fitted as previous owner seems to have been VERY errr,, enthusiastic with it. Still not picked it up, but cant wait, although of course i will have to...just to clarify.. picked it up means not collected yet, not meaning I have dropped it already, although it wont be long...... At least I dont need a fekking step ladder like i did on the 800....... Just been given some rather tasteful blue LED dustcaps for it, but not sure If I'll actually use them.......Let's see some pics of the bike then Mark![]()

You move your eyes not your head.![]()
I don't understand why you wouldnt do exactly the same on the bike! Then no need to remove lid/gloves when safely parked.
Not sure why anyone has a problem speaking on the phone while on the bike. I have a SENA on both helmets and get my satnav directions through it, send and read messages (via Siri) and also speak to my wife.
It depends on the conversation you're having. If my director called me to have a difficult conversation I would probably pull over and have it property but if it's just your wife or mates seeing what you're up to what's the issue?

Simple, you should be concentrating on the road and the traffic.
