Navigator II Loud Speaker

I have a 1200GS. I have a Nav II, as per BMW spec, with brackets etc etc.

Has anyone run a cable from the speaker plug on the bracket (bottom LHS) to a speaker mounted somewhere on the bike ?

Are there any alternatives without having to use touratech power/audio cables?

Just want the bike to beep, to tell me to look at the sat nav. Dont necessarily want to hear clear audio spoken instructions...

Don't want to go down the autocomm or Nav II + and System 5 helmet route just yet!!

Dont want an ear pice either really..(Unless they're really good, and i can still wear ear plugs)

I have a 276c on my RT, the audio output is feed to the right hand speaker in the fairing and works very well in traffic up to say 30mph then it becomes drowned out by background noise, it’s ok so long as you don’t mind looking (sounding) a bit of a Wally. beep is probably best as you say.
