I have all the metal working gear, but its stacked in a shipping container whilst my workshop is being re-built (the Brickies started yesterday ). I could sort the machinery out one weekend if its dry and do some welding. I made up a bracket for the Zumo 660 on my 1150GSA, it works fine. I also have an old BMW Navigator Mk-1, which I think uses the same brackets as your Garmin 2610 - so I have something to work from. These were taken while I was fitting a Starcom System with 2-way radio, Bluetooth & sat nav in preparation for an 8,600 mile tour of Turkey Bob.

You drive past these guys for donkeys years and forget all about them! PM on its way Bob. I'm afraid my bodged efforts at 1mm steel sheet and an old steel rod will look pretty amateurish compared to your kit!
