My Neutral light is not working - the RID shows 0 just fine though.
I have checked the globe which also looks fine (how do these little buggers actually come out the rubber connector?). I know there is a switch at the abck of the swingarm - is it possible for this to be at fault but the RID to work OK? Suggections?

neutral light

If you got an 1100 then the gear indicator switch is seperate - it piggybacks off the neutral light switch. If its an 1150 then its only 1 switch. The bulb is a capless type they pull out of the bulb socket. see if you have got any power to the bulb socket- if not try earthing out the brown wire with black tracer on it 2 c if bulb lights if it does then its the switch

OK - checked out bulb, it works (swopped it out) but there does not appear to be juice to it ... also shorted out the brown wire (has green stripe) and no joy. I have also noticed now that when I select gears other than N my fuel light and charge light glow dimly???? Definately some short (earth?) somewhere... but cannot find anything! Will try getting to switch and pulling it to check connectors etc - Any other suggestions???
