The neutral light on my 2000 1150 has packed up, once in a while it has come on so it doesn't look like the bulb, so it's more likely to be the sensor. If this is so, is it an easy fix? If not I'll live without it.

i would look for the connection to the neutral switch and check the connection then disconect the wire and check back the wire using a battery and bulb to find the break if it is not the switch

Had a look at the thread, and checked the bulbs when installing some cool new red LEDs in the clock. All the clock bulbs had gone, but the neutral and battery light seem OK as does what I can see of the wiring. I can't find any reference to where the neutral sensor is.
