New 1200GS Rallye LC

EvSkij... a well written post. It doesn't surprise me that the loser from Nottingham disagrees!

At £15k-£17k I have to like a bike minimum of 95%. If it does not meet my expectations, then for as long as I am spending my hard earned money, I am going to let you know what I think of it, if I was given one I'd shut up and put up with it. A good and attentive customer service is another selling point, it isn't just about the bike, it is also about the whole buying experience.

Anyway, it's no sweat really is it.

Nutty likes the corporate 'car' type buying experience and Evskji hasn't been riding bikes long so has yet to 'get it'. Me, I'm an old git and like dealing with straight talking down to each dealers such as Leisuretrail :thumb2 Horse for courses.

And........if I'm honest, part of the appeal of the big KTM's is that you DON'T see every man and his dog riding one like you do do with the ubiquitous GS, so, if what I consider to be complete non issues (and in some cases plus points) are putting others off that's all to the good. Their loss, our gain :)

I went into the Long Eaton KTM Dealership.. your right its a different buying experience and a refreshing one, he told me to sell my pile of crap private ( his words and my GS :blast ) and offered me a fantastic cash deal ..it was all good humored banter with no slimey sales bollox

The trend of punters through KTM doors and BMW are very much the opposite .

Oh I have gathered that you know! KTM dealer experience was as if you might as well walk in to Asda. No one gave flying fuck what I was in there for....... :nenau
