in discussions..... but being offered deals on 2016 1190R and 1290SA...... ( both In stock at my local dealer) -- weighing up my options... also need to see one "in the flesh" at the NEC..

if the deal is right may take a 2016 1290SA.......... we shall have to wait and see.......

I'm wondering what the realistic price is for an 1190S. On general offer for £13,000- plus luggage, but I don't need luggage so it's really only £1,300- less than the new 1290 S.....

I would hold out for a bit - I believe KTM will shortly be discounting the 1190 S more than they currently are

I paid £10,995 for my brand new 2015 model earlier this year - see no reason why they will not get down or close to this level again given the release of the new models.

I want a 1290 S in black but have a pillion to consider so will wait until one is available on demo.Dont ride during the winter so I can wait

lucky boy - they look fantastic. looking forward to seeing one in the flesh in Milan soon, but don't think i can justify swapping in my 1 year old 1190R for one just at the moment

I know where there is a 2015 Ginger 1190S where I reckon you would get a super deal...unregistered as well....


I'm lead to believe that the dealers are waiting for 2016 discounting instructions... Need to clear stock for 2017 models..

There are grey one's about - Leisuretrail and Redline both have them in stock at the moment - Ginger one's are more common cos as everyone know's - they are a bit faster

I've got my Bumots which I may use when racks are available,but my preferred luggage will most likely be my large roll back Rokstrapped to the large carrier that I've specced in the configurator.

Will be interesting to see what if anything more KTM have done to design out the heat issues.

Pics of new bikes look like they no longer have the seat heat deflector kit that the 2016 bikes got and I retro fitted to mine.
