New Battery noise?

Just fitted a new Motorbatt battery and on turning on the ignition it went through the usual start up rotine a yellow triangle light came on then off, but now a small beeb sound every 10 seconds can be heard. Is this normal I haven't started the bike for a while but don't remember the noise before. The bike starts fine.

If it had a seized flappy valve, it'll make a strange noise like you describe.
Don't worry about trying to lube it, not worth the bother and won't last. Time to get rid of.

I will look at the exhaust valve it has stuck before but just in the open position.

Unplug the flappy motor wiring connector. If noise stops you have the source.
