Thing is, not all YTX-14BS batteries (or equivalents - I think the designation is actually a Yuasa one) are created equal .
A Yuasa YTX-14BS is a 14Ah battery, rated at 200 CCA, while Varta do at least two different batteries marked up as YTX-14BS (Funstart and Powersport) - one is 10Ah and 100CCA while the other is 12Ah and 200CCA. Exide retail ones seems to be 12Ah and 160CCA

Funstart - clever name. Is that because you will have fun trying to start a 1200GS with 10Ah and 100CCA

I use MotoBatt on the GSA and Harley... Fantastic batteries, well worth it

Go on be different and try a Ballistic LiFePo. Very small and light, minimal loss of charge when stored, no acid to spill and good CCA. Only snag is cost but being small could be fitted elsewhere on the bike leaving handy storage space under the seat.
